ROBOFLAGGER is a remote controlled gated traffic director. The RoboFlagger is a complete system that is ready to flag at any time.  The RoboFlagger eliminates the traditional human flagger along busy and dangerous traffic work zones. A single person, positioned in a safe area, out of traffic, can operate one or two RoboFlaggers by remote control in excess of one mile away.  ROBOFlagger does not use a typical "conflict monitor".  The human flagger is the "conflict monitor".  The unit will not perform ANY action w/o a command from the human flagger.

POWER

12 volt power system. The system will operate for 14 days straight 24hrs/day without a charge. (4) Deep cycle 6 volt batteries in a self contained box with quick disconnect; (1) 85 watt solar panel with charge controller.  Automatic battery charger with built in external charging port.

LIGHTS

(2) 12" LED Lights red/amber; (2) 4" amber LED lights (located on the reverse of the signal head for operator indication); 12 Volt light on the stop here on red sign.

GATE ARM

Gate arm is 2" wide up to 10' long; 88" retro reflective red & white striped (4") tape; Longer or shorter length available depending on the job. 18" X 18" orange flag; LED's surface mounted to the gate arm.

SIGNAL

HEIGHT 13’6" total height (12’ center of red LED).

INFRARED SENSOR and PANIC ALARM

Inferred sensor to detect arrant vehicles and to prevent the gate arm from descending on arrant vehicles. 120 Db Alarm tied into the inferred sensor.  The entire system is run off PLC programming logic controller and allows custom configurations. All electronics are encased in a dust, water, and corrosion proof enclosure.

REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control operates on a 900 MHz spread spectrum frequency that requires no license for operation.  It utilizes 4 AA batteries that last up to 160 hours. The range on the remote is up to 1 mile.  There is a 25' wired "local controller" with the unit that is removable for secure storage.  Has adjustment selector to control the Fast/Slow speed of the gate arm.

Graphics provide quick reference to the ROBOFlagger's status, as well provide a means to make quick adjustments to the ROBOFlagger.

PLC

The ROBOFlagger is run off of a PLC (programming logic controller).  This allows the ROBOFlagger to add or delete features without having to remodel the entire system.  With the PLC, you can add Wi-Fi capabilities, add a small message board, add a monitoring camera, or radiological and chemical detection systems for military applications.  In general, the PLC ensures you can tailor the ROBOFlagger to just about any specific job conditions that may be present.

Utility Version

• Construction Road Cone Holder: Able to carry 40 36" standard road cones.
• 48" Roll up Sign Carrier: Stores up to four 48" standard construction roll up vinyl signs.
• Sign Stand Carrier: Able to hall sign stands for the 48" roll up signs on the top of the system with secure storage.
• 12 Volt Wench: Raises and lowers signal head faster.

All features on the RoboFlagger Utility Version are available as bolt on options to the standard RoboFlagger.

Security Camera

A security camera system in mounted to the standard RoboFlagger.  The video feed is connected to the PLC (Programming Logic Controller) to indicate the status of the entire unit.  You have 360 Degrees of coverage.  All data is recorded on a data recorder on a constant loop giving the end user the ability to have recorded documentation in the event of an accident.
