When it comes to efficiency and dependability, MMD Equipment's ultra-quiet air compressors are designed for today's demands.  They're extremely reliable - which helps reduce downtime and maintenance as well as increasing your profitability.  All Airman compressors are eco-friendly, with engines that are compliant with Tier II standards and emit less exhaust gas than other compressors on the market.  They are also economical - a plus in today's worrying high fuel prices.  Fuel economy is maximized and component wear is minimized via a low engine idle - as low as 1,300 rpm in some models.

Airman compressors offer excellent performance in a wide range of applications, from concrete spraying, well drilling, natural resource explorations and more.

The NEW version of the PDS185 has many improvements that include:

• Dual air-cleaners for better protection of the air-end.
• Wider stance for improved towing stability.

• Using AIRMAN's All Season Oil reduces oil service intervals by one-half (from 500 hours to 1000 hours) and increases the air compressor's "up-time".
• A standard 2 year air-end and coupler warranty is extendable to 5 years with the use of AIRMAN oil and filters available from MMD Equipment (see complete warranty for details).
• An enlarged toolbox can now house two breakers and keep them protected with lockable doors.

Quiet, High Efficiency Design

Engine idles as low as 1,300 RPM - less than half the speed of competitive models - to increase fuel economy and reduce component wear.   Noise level is as low as 63dBA at 7 meters when idling.  This is substantially less noise than competitor's machine.   Direct-injection engine meets strict new EPA Tier 2 emission standards.

Convenient Access and Storage

Gull-wing style doors allow easy one-hand operation! Large, lockable doors with gas struts virtually lift themselves for easy access to tool storage and service components. NEW larger tool compartments hold 90-lb. breakers, various tools and hoses. Optional factory-installed hose reels (50' and 100') are available for self-storing air hose.

• Powder-coated finish and stainless steel hardware maintain their attractive appearance
• Engine is directly coupled to the air-end by a fiber gear coupler for improved power transmission
• Improved un-loader valve and air pressure regulator feature O-rings instead of a diaphragm
